Education
What we do
This year we are excited to welcome The Country Trust onto our farm and host school visits.
We have visits booked with children and young people from both specialist Special Educational Needs (SEND) schools, Social & Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) provison units, as well as primary age children from inner-city London schools.
We are delighted to invite them to our small patch in North Essex and hope we can have substantial impact on their connection with the wider world, and specifically the joy of farming.
Olivia has worked in education for 20 years and specifically in Special Educational Needs and more recently with mental health and well-being in primary schools.
It is a dream come true to be able to amalgamate the two areas and bring education to Broxted Hill.
Joining forces
We had been looking for an education partner for a while and felt The Country Trust was a perfect fit for our combined experience. The Trust supports better life chances for disadvantaged children through hands-on food, farming and countryside experiences.
